Hanwha Proposes EUR 100 Million Investment in Estonian Defense Industry
Hanwha Aerospace announced a proposed EUR 100 million ($115.5M) investment in Estonia covering an ammunition plant, a military equipment maintenance and repair center, and R&D cooperation with Estonian companies; Estonian officials said it remains an offer with negotiations ongoing. The investment would deepen Hanwha's footprint on NATO's northeastern flank following the December 2025 Estonian Chunmoo contract.
