Romania Enters Active Negotiations for 216 K2 Black Panther Tanks (~EUR 6.5B)
Romania's Ministry of Defence allocated a EUR 6.5 billion budget and began active negotiations with Hyundai Rotem for 216 K2 Black Panther main battle tanks. Hyundai Rotem reportedly offered the most open technology transfer proposal among competing bidders. A contract is anticipated in H2 2026.
