South Korean Defense Exports Fall to $9.5B in 2024, Half of $20B Target
South Korea's defense exports totaled a preliminary $9.5 billion in 2024, about half of DAPA's initial $20 billion target, which had been cut to $15 billion mid-year. Exports have declined from $17.3 billion in 2022 and $13.5 billion in 2023, largely because the $7 billion second K2 tank contract with Poland was not finalized during the year.
